How can we build safety and security practices that strengthen the long-term sustainability of trans organizing?

Join the International Trans Fund for an online capacity-building workshop exploring practical approaches to physical, digital, organizational and psychosocial security.

Together, we’ll explore risk assessment, crisis preparedness, collective care, leadership wellbeing and organizational resilience, drawing on the experiences and strategies of activists working across different contexts.

A practical knowledge sharing space where trans organizers can:

  • Understand how physical, digital, organizational, and psychosocial safety contribute to sustainability.

  • Identify common organizational vulnerabilities and approaches for assessing and prioritizing risks.

  • Explore practical strategies for crisis preparedness, organizational continuity, and protection.

  • Exchange lessons learned across diverse political, cultural, and geographic contexts.

  • Identify at least one practical action that participants can adapt to strengthen the safety and resilience of their organization.
