ITF’s 11th Cycle is Here!

Every year, ITF has the privilege of welcoming trans-led groups from around the world into our grant making process. On 6 October 2026, we will open our 11th Grant Cycle and invite another year of ideas, organizing, resistance, care, and movement building.

Since ITF began, we have moved $10.31 million to 271 trans-led organizations worldwide. Behind those numbers are movements building power in their communities: creating spaces of safety and belonging, organizing against violence and discrimination, strengthening trans leadership, expanding access to rights and resources, and imagining freer futures for trans people.

Our grant making is grounded in a simple belief: trans movements know what their communities need. ITF provides flexible funding so that trans-led groups can set their own priorities, respond to their own contexts, and build the movements they want to see.

As we enter our 11th cycle, we carry forward everything our grantee partners have taught us over the past decade. Their creativity, courage, knowledge, and organizing continue to shape who we are and how we fund. Now, we are excited to welcome new and returning applicants into the next chapter of ITF’s grant making.

You can create or update your profile in ITF’s grants portal now and be ready for the launch on 6 October. Throughout the cycle, we will also share information about our funding priorities and eligibility criteria, alongside funding webinars, application walkthroughs, and other resources to support groups through the application process.
